A Note From the Company
Healing Tree Bamboo Charcoal Soap is high in absorbency so it draws dirt from deep inside the pores. Unlike normal soaps that only clean the surface of your skin, this soap can free up a lot of dirt that clogs deep beneath your skin especially if you have acne, eczema, psoriasis, and dry/cracked skin. Bamboo charcoal undergoes a firing process of 1,800 F to create high absorbency properties making it 4x more absorbent than wood charcoal. As a result, it cleanses your skin by removing years of accumulated dead skin cells.

We strive to bring the best natural technology to our customers and specialize in seven unique brands. Our products are made with Activated Bamboo Charcoal, which reacts with your body heat to provide self-warming properties for natural relief.

The Healing Tree has earned several awards for their products, including:
"Best Green Products"-Green Living Expo 2008
"Greenopia Sustainability Award"- Greenopia 2008
"Best Branding Review Award"- Millionaire Business Bootcamp 2013
Top 10 Best in Home Products"- Opensky 2013

My Thoughts on This Product

I like the packaging. The design on the box the image of the tree on both the box and the soap, as well as the color of the soap, fit the soap well since the it is only made with natural ingredients. Go green! Great for the environment :) I love that.
I've actually never heard of Bamboo Charcoal before trying it out, and I'm happy that I did.
This soap lathers up very well and it doesn't really have a scent. I can remove all my makeup easily with it, which is great. When I read that it was exfoliating, I honestly thought that it would have to have some sort of rough texture to exfoliate well. This soap is actually smooth but it does seem to exfoliate my skin. My skin feels extremely clean, smoother, and really soft each time that I use it. I don't know if it works really well for acne because I've been using other products for that issue but it cleans so, so well. I could rub my hand against my skin afterwards and hear a little squeak. SERIOUSLY, guys! :) I like that it can be used as a facial soap or all over body soap as well.
The only thing that I don't like too much is that since it is a dark soap, when I'm using it in the shower, dark green droplets splatter everywhere. Not that they stain or anything, and I guess it's not that big of a deal. I just have to make sure to rinse them off of the tile and shower curtain after I shower so that my tub doesn't look super dirty.

8 Packing Hacks When Moving

Moving is almost rarely enjoyable. I mean, you have to pack up all your stuff just to unpack it again somewhere else? You eat off of paper plates with plastic utensils for your last week because you know your kitchen takes the most to pack. You shift boxes around for weeks while you try and continue living in your home. It’s just not fun. Certain things can make it more enjoyable or at least easier, however. For instance, if you have found a great apartment for rent center city or similar, then you might find that this takes the sting out somewhat.
